the Civil Wars.

The Civil Wars = Incredible. John Paul White and  Joy Williams took the stage last week in our school's coffeehouse with incredible poise and talent. Joy's eloquent but simple voice paired with John Paul’s acoustic guitar create a folk-like sound that is fresh and just plain incredible. And not only do they sound great together, they have a stage presence that resonates their quirky friendship and utter happiness to be on stage performing.  Check out their songs: Poison and Wine, Tip of My Tongue, and Go.

Best Friends.

One Week Ago.

It was my 20th birthday last week. And I was going to wait for the other pictures to be developed but since those didn't turn out... (walgreens. ew.) this is what I have :) So. This is my 20th birthday in a nutshell.

I woke up to balloons that I was told to pop. They said be ready to go at 4:00. I love you. P.S. We are going to party like Pablo Picasso.

Apparently this is how Pablo Picasso partied. We tried to get creative... not really sure how that worked out.

My wonderful mother and Danny took me to dinner.

But when I walked in... there were my best friends!!!!! :)

It was a great day!

After getting a Nikon N8008s film camera for my 20th birthday, I was ecstatic to take pictures and get them printed. So the day finally came to pick up the pictures from being developed. I paid, for them, $7.22 to be exact, and opened the envelope only to find out that three of the pictures turned out. This is what happens when you have pictures developed at Walgreens... they expose your pictures to light and ruin your day. So, here are the pictures that were captured... unfortunately these were taken right after my mom had given me the camera so nothing too exciting had been documented. I am sad.
