my mom and i packed up and headed to pittsburgh this past weekend. talk about a city full of personality- this place was incredible. we found some gems of restaurants: there was coca cafe where i had pancakes that rival those of nashville's pancake pantry. at girasole, the food took me straight back to italy, and zenith's vegetarian brunch had us eating within an antique goldmine. aside from the incredible food, we ventured to the mattress factory art museum, the andy warhol museum, mount washington, and wandered the many districts, only to truly discover how much we enjoyed this city.
