It's crazy to think that we started this wonderful adventure three weeks ago in Paris & now we only have two weeks left in Rome. I wish time would slow down because two weeks is not enough time. This is our video from Paris. enjoy.
Borghese Gardens
Yesterday Jordan and I found ourselves at Borghese Gardens. Talk about beautiful. This place was absolutely gorgeous. {if any of you know my obsession with the book atonement, this park was a replica of how I picture the first part of that book} We rented bikes, and along the way, got to see Mary.
It was a really incredible day, and both of us agreed that we will definitely be making our way back there soon.
Rome-ing
jordan and i tend to wander around. a lot. & sometimes we stumble across the coolest stuff. [other times, not so much] but these are some of my favorite photos from our wanderings.
Roman Holiday
Today. has. been. the. laziest. day. ever. Aside from waking up early this morning to go to a market, the rest of the day has been spent in bed: sleeping, catching up on blogs, listening to the rain outside, and getting up that one time to eat a bread stick. This meal has been the one true accomplishment of the day. And boy was it good.
Venturing Out
Today. Jordan and I ventured up and then down 125 stairs that led us to the Basilica of Saint Mary. It was incredibly beautiful in all aspects, especially considering the fact that we could hear the choir practicing. [That made the whole experience that much more incredible.]
I was especially obsessed with their collection of chandeliers that hung along the archways and across the mantle.
