The Phoenicia Diner is a better, more sophisticated version of the 1950s tin on the outside, vinyl seating on the inside restaurant that normally comes to mind when we think of a diner. On it's own, the diner greets guests with it's 1980s charm. Add to that a menu fit for foodies and packed full of local ingredients, and that's where the sophistication sets in. Dishes like the prosciutto sandwich, the locally smoked trout, and the buckwheat waffles served with local maple syrup are enticing to diners looking for something tasty with a local touch (and bonus: the coffee is amazing). We will all definitely be going back again.
