Florence is like a baby Rome. Less of a city, more of a town. A place where everything is compact, not spread out. It still remains to be full of art and amazing shopping, fun piazzas, great food, and those great little alleyways that always seem to lead to something unexpected. While we were there, I got to revisit the statue of David, go inside the Duomo that sits in the center of the city, enjoy music and time with friends on the Ponte Vecchio Bridge, watch a game of Calcio Fiorentino in Piazza Croce, explore the leather markets, go to our first Discoteca, and eat, by far, our best meal in Italy at San Desiderio in Siena.
