The Vatican Museum is right up there with the Pantheon and Coliseum- you just can't pass it up in Rome. Since I was here a year ago, it's been really cool to see everything again because I notice things this time that I never would have seen a year ago. For instance this time in the Vatican Museum, I wasn't as focused on the major pieces, but took a look around at the more subtle things such as the carved wooden shutters, the beautiful blue tiled floors, and those seemingly random pieces of art that don't even possess a description.
